CELGA POLICY -- PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING!!
Celga is a middleman service which allows overseas buyers to bid on and purchase items from Yahoo Japan. We are not legally or financially associated in any way with Yahoo Japan or any of its subsidiaries.
By requesting Celga to bid on an auction, you are agreeing to the fees and policies listed on this site. If you have any questions at all, please send a message to bustakei@yahoo.com before bidding, and we will cheerfully do our best to answer.
Deposits
Before we will bid on your behalf, we ask that you provide us with your full name and shipping address (particularly important if you are a new bidder, or if you have changed your address information since the last time you used our service). We also request that you remit half of your maximum bid amount up front, transferred via PayPal, so that we can have it available to pay the seller once your auction is complete. Of course, if you are outbid, your money will be promptly refunded.
All PayPal payments to Celga must be transferred to the following account:
paypal@celga.com
(NOTE to old-time customers -- this address CHANGED on 2/1/02.)
International and domestic money orders can now be sent to our US address:
Celga, Inc.
PO Box 2427
Redwood City, CA
94064-2427
USA
Additional Fees
In addition to the final bid price of an auction, several additional fees will apply. These fees are the Celga markup, the bank transfer fee, the cost of shipping within Japan, and the cost of shipping from Celga to your address. Please see the Fees page and familiarize yourself with these costs before requesting an auction.
Auction Order
All auction requests are taken on a first-come first-serve basis. If you are the first to request a certain auction, we will be bidding on your behalf. If, however, someone else has already requested the same auction, your name will be added to a waiting list, so long as your maximum bid is higher than theirs. If the original buyer is outbid during the auction by an independent bidder, we will then handle the next buyer in line.
At no point will we reveal the maximum bids requested by other buyers. Please do not ask us for this information.
Prompt Payment
Yahoo Japan sellers request payment as soon as an auction is complete. Any part of the payment which was not covered by your deposit is paid to the seller by Celga, and you are billed for that remaining balance, plus our fees. As you can imagine, tardy payment of your invoices would make it difficult for us to stay in business, and we therefore respectfully request that you pay your balance as soon as you receive your invoice. All auction ending balances, commission or other fees which are not paid within a reasonable time will be subject to a late payment charge or other penalties. Please see our Fees page for more information on these penalties.
If you agree to our policies and fees, and you're ready to bid, just drop us a line!
